The Asian Canadian Writers' Workshop, in collaboration with the Aboriginal Writers Collective West Coast is pleased to present a weekend of evening readings. Please join us for some food and festivities!
Sunday October 14, 7.00pm, NEC. Readings from the CCC workshop series, featuring Daniel Justice, Hiromi Goto, Jordan Abel, Rita Wong. Members of the public welcome.
Sunday October 14, 6.00pm, Floata Restaurant. 180 Keefer Street in Vancouver historical Chinatown. Hosted by Sheryl MacKay and Todd Wong, with speakers including Miranda Hill from Project Bookmark, Alan Twigg from BC Bookworld, as well as voices from Wayson's childhood and youth, the event includes an eight course Chinese dinner. Tickets are $55 per person or $500 for a table of 10. Proceeds of funds will go in support of the Project Bookmark Canada. Come and meet Wayson in person and have your books autographed by him.
